HIRH Istvan Franz, Archduke of Austria, appointed Baliff Grand Cross of Justice and President of Council of the Luxembourg Delegation

HIRH István Franz-Leopold, Archduke of Austria, Prince Imperial of Austria, Prince Royal of Hungary and Bohemia, was appointed Bailiff Grand Cross of Justice and President of Council of the Luxembourg Delegation of the Order.

HIRH the Archduke was born in Mexico City in 1961. He is son of HIRH Felix Ferdinand Archduke of Austria and HIRH Anna-Eugénie, née Princess von Arenberg, and grandson of the Blessed Karl I, Emperor of Austria, Apostolic King of Hungary and King of Bohemia. After studying Engineering and attaining University degrees in Law and Business Administration in Mexico and attending postgraduate seminars in Fiscal Law in the USA, HIRH worked as Sales and Marketing Manager for international companies domiciled in or represented in Belgium and Luxemburg.

He currently serves as the President of the Chamber of Commerce Luxembourg/China (Chinalux) and as the Luxembourg Representative of the Argentinian Chamber of Commerce (Luxembourg-Belgium).

He was appointed Officer of the Order of the Oak Crown of Luxembourg in 1997.

 

HIRH is married to Paola Csilla, née von Temesvary, and has three children - Andras (b. 1994), Pal (b. 1997) and Margaretha (b. 1999).
