Thanksgiving Mass in Malta, 15th July 2005

Written by Group of Malta

On Friday 15 July 2005, on the eve of the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, the eighteenth century baroque chapel of the Benedictine Monastery of St. Peter in Mdina was the venue of the annual Thanksgiving Mass which was organised by the Malta group of our Order. Mass was said by the Chaplain of the group Rev. Mons. Aloysius Deguara. This occasion was also attended by our two new members, Aaron Casha and Emanuel Fiorentino, who were both admitted into the Order in the rank of Knight of Merit. The homily delivered by Mons. Deguara focussed on the importance of the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel and on how the Constantinian Knights and Dames can be instrumental through their deeds and charities in this always changing society.

The Mass was followed by a dinner in a prestigious restaurant in the same medieval town of Mdina.
