The Most Rev Monsignor Jordi Farré, Grand Cross of Merit, was elected an honorary member of the Royal Academy of Genealogy and Heraldy of Madrid on 1 December 2005, for his "knowledge of ecclesiastical heraldry and his work in the restoration of patrimony of the Church".

H.E. the Most Reverend Monsignor Jordi Farré (born Lleida, 1942) is Prior Coadjutor of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George for the Principality of Catalonia. He graduated in Sacred Theology in the Pontificial University of Salamanca, and is also a Commander of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem, Honorary Canon of the Real e Insigne Colegiata de Calatayud and Chaplain of the Real Estamento Militar del Principado de Girona.
